Most modern vehicles are equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR), commonly referred to as a “black box.” We analyze data from the event, which may include the speed of the vehicle prior to an event, changes in velocity due to an impact, whether or not brakes were applied, and dozens of other pieces of information used in collision reconstruction.
